Bobby Johnson

Funeral services for Bobby L. Johnson, 39, will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Cope Memorial, Gallup. Bishop Jerry DuBois will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery, Gallup. Johnson died Dec. 11, 2009, in Gallup. He was born May 12, 1970, in Gallup, into the Black Streak Forest People Clan for the Towering House People Clan. Johnson graduated from Gallup High. He worked for various wholesale jewelers as an inlayer, and worked with Paul Ramirez for many years. He was an avid reader loved to listen to heavy metal music and to ride his bike. Survivors include his mother, Marie Johnson of Gallup; sisters, Betty Wilson of Gallup, Kathyrn Johnson of Gallup, Bella Miller of Phoenix. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Leo Johnson; brother, Jason Johnson. Pallbearers will be Gary Wilson, Vernon Wilso, Emery Sam, Derrick Mike, Benjamin Mike. The family will receive relatives and friends at Marie Johnson's residence, following services. Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements
