Bobby W. Jones

Bobby W. Jones, born September 18, 1937 to Jewel and Claira Jones in Corona, NM, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Over his lifetime he served briefly in the United States Navy; helped with the family business; a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. For nearly forty years, Bobby was a member of the International Union Operating Engineers Local 302. During this time he also served as an official for Local 302 out of Anchorage, Alaska and Seattle, Washington. Bobby had many interests that kept him busy; he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed this time with his biggest passion in life, his baby; his family was very important to him and whenever possible, many of his children and grandchildren also enjoyed this hobby with him. Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda F. Jones; sons, Rodney J. Jones and Bobby W. Jones, Jr.; his parents; a brother and 2 sisters. He is survived by his sister Cheryl Jones; children: Billy E. Jones, Annette Sterling, Elizabeth Nelson, Vickie Lynn Collard, and Melissa Coffman; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
