Brian John Purtell

PURTELL, Brian John, 55, a trim carpenter, small business owner, entrepreneur, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend passed away Sunday, May 13th, 2009. Brian was born in Albuquerque, NM to Dr Eugene Purtell (deceased) and Margaret Van Eweyk Purtell on May 20th, 1953. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Colleen Purtell, his sons, Todd and wife Nicole, and Matthew, grandsons, Brian and Scott, his siblings, Kate and Richard Prasek, Pat and Sharon Purtell, Peg and Gene Moser, Nancy Purtell and husband Bill Quaglia, Kevin and Barbara Purtell, Tim and Lucy Purtell and Terry Purtell, 21 nieces and nephews, 14 grand-nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Brian is preceded in death by his father and sister-in-law Cheryl Purtell.
