Campbell, Brittany Sloane
Age 44, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born in Dallas, TX on February 7, 1971, to Ronald and Carol Strobel. She attended Hamilton Park Elementary when she loved running, camping, riding in Dad's race car and motorcycle. Britt (which she liked to be called) then moved to Shawnee, OK in 1982 where she was a track start and won the Hershey's Golden Track Shoe award for her school. She then moved to Boulder, CO in 1983and attended Centennial Junior High and graduated from Boulder High in 1989 where she ran track and medaled in meets such as state medals, she also skied, camped and loved being with her friends. Britt graduated Colorado State University in 1993 with a BS degree in Interior Design. After that she moved to Maine and where she worked as a commercial interior designer and fell in love with horses which led her to play on the men's polo team for five years! She owned a 150 year old farm house with four horses on ten acres. Then in 2001 she moved back to Colorado then to Albuquerque where she worked as a Commercial interior design becoming a Leeds licensed and ASID member where she loved camping with her husband and their dogs. She had a tremendous talent for design and was very talented she also was an committed athlete her entire life, running, swimming, climbing, cycling and yoga. Britt had a tremendous strong spirit and will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Brittany is survived by husband, Russell Campbell; father, Ronald J. Strobel; mother, Carol I. E. Strobel; brother, Erick B. Strobel his wife Gina Strobel; nephews, Ashten L. and Preston L. Strobel; and her beloved dogs, Kona, a chocolate lab and Diego, a Rotti.
