Bruce A. Dunn - Went home to be with the Lord on January 12th, 2024.
Bruce at a young age so easily made people smile and seamlessly made people laugh. He enjoyed the little things in life such as sunrises in the morning, hiking in the mountains, walks with Layla his dog by the Rio Grande, and going off on some kind of road to see the next adventure and of course Alabama football.
Bruce effortlessly cared for others, always placing others before himself. He was a beloved son to Sue and the late Shawood Dunn, a charismatic brother to the late Robbie Dunn and Joann Weldon, a loving husband to his wife Christine, a wonderful Dad to Carynn Prickett husband Austin, the late Emily Dunn, Michaela Quinto husband Spencer, a cherished grandfather to Natalie Prickett, a jokester of an Uncle to his nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. He was great at each role, always displayed his love for the Lord by his actions and words.
The saying he announced more and more as time with him got shorter was “it’s all good” through his countless rounds of chemo, sleepless nights, and many hospital trips he would continue to say it’s all good. What a beautiful message Bruce lived, to carry life at such ease and have a sense of humor through it all. We hope we can all live with the motto of it’s all good, carrying the goodness and love as Bruce once did.
