Buddy Farrell Walker, age 89 passed away peacefully in his sleep on 1/1/21. He was a long time NM cattle and sheep rancher in Santa Rosa and Corona. He also raised AQHA quarter horses. He had a special connection with animals of all kinds. In later years he had a real estate business in Albuquerque. He appreciated the comradery of his coffee friends as they brought so much enjoyment for him each day. His integrity was unparalleled and a hand shake was his bond.
He is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Franklin Walker Jr and Peggy Walker, and his first wife Bettye (Rush) Walker. He is survived by his wife of 48 yrs Ardis Walker; sons Ralph (Becky) Walker, John Walker and daughter Julie Walker. Grandsons Stephen (Jasmyn) Walker, Scott Walker, Tigg Walker and granddaughter Teagan Walker and two great grandchildren, Rylee and Corbyn Walker along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be planned in the spring which was Bud’s favorite time of the year when he will hang up his boots and head for greener pastures.
