Calvin Patrick Velasquez

Calvin Patrick Velasquez passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 34. He is survived by his father Robert Velasquez, mother Pat Velasquez, brother Jerome Velasquez, sister-in-law Rebecca Velasquez, nephews Adam and Max Velasquez, grandmother Flora Gallegos, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Adolph Gallegos Jr., Margarito and Eulalia Velasquez and cousins Randy and David Velasquez.

Calvin was born on March 4, 1987 in Santa Fe New Mexico. From a very early age, Calvin’s playful spirt and strong will was apparent to everyone. He always had a smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. In high school, Calvin loved to play football and helped lead his school to two state championships.

Calvin had a successful career in the hospitality business. He had a way of making customers and co-workers feel welcomed and appreciated.  Calvin’s favorite place in the whole world was his family’s property in San Acacio, Colorado. It was in the beautiful green pastures that he truly felt at home. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who loved his family unconditionally. His love, light and laughter will truly be missed.
