Ulibarri, Candido C
Age 90, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 in Truth or Consequences, NM. He was born in Polvadera, NM on June 21, 1926, to Eliseo and Luz (Chavez) Ulibarri. Candido was in the U.S. Army and served his country proudly during WW II. He enjoyed the outdoors and raised horses on his farm in Polvadera. He also enjoyed hunting, farming, baseball and basketball. Candido retired after 22 years with the U. S. Post Office. Candido will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Julianita (Lucero) Ulibarri; and his brothers, Manuel and Santiago Ulibarri. Candido is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Ulibarri and husband, Daniel Martinez; his brothers, Alex Ulibarri and wife, Jennie, and Jacinto Ulibarri; his grandchildren, Joseph Ulibarri and wife, Sarena, and Anthony Lopez; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am. Celebrant Rev. John Anasiudu. Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following service. Pallbearers will be Joseph Ulibarri and Anthony Lopez.
