Carl Leonard Manzanares

Carl Leonard Manzanares, age 62, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019.  He was born on March 7, 1957 in Los Angeles, California to Andres Abelino Manzanares and Lourdes Francisca Salazar Manzanares.  He graduated from Whittier High School in Whittier, CA in 1975 and attended Rio Hondo College.  He married Diane Martinez on November 22, 1980 and they were married 38 years until his passing.  He was employed by United Technologies for 23 years.

Carl is preceded in death by his father, Andres Manzanares.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Manzanares; son, Daniel Manzanares; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Henry Gurule; mother, Lourdes Manzanares; grandchildren, Lilli, Angelica, Celina, Joseph, Gabriel, Julian, Bella, Marisabel, and Mariana; brothers, Rick Manzanares of Rio Rancho, NM and Jeff (Lorena) Manzanares of Chino Hills, CA; and sister, Rebecca (Orlando) Pino of Riverside, CA.

Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.  Mass will be held immediately following.   Inurnment will be announced at a later date.
