Carl William Reinhardt

Carl William Reinhardt 80, our father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away February 3, 2009. He was born on November 12, 1928 to August Frank Reinhardt and Eva Reid in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Carl met his eternal sweetheart Della Kershaw in Vallejo, CA at a church dance. They were married August 12, 1950. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salt Lake Temple. He is survived by his two daughters, Katheryne Lairmore (Richard), Casa Grande, AZ and Suzanne Howard (Robert), Farmington, NM. Two sons, Carl Reinhardt Jr (Elizabeth), Jamestown, NM and Michael Reinhardt (Gaye), Bloomfield, NM; Sixteen grandchildren (11 eagle scouts, 5 military, 3 LDS missionaries, college graduates, athletes, students) Scott (Yvette), Greg (Jenifer), Mark (Amanda) and Terrance (Carolyn) Lairmore, Katheryne Kasper (Kelly), Brock, Broderick, Brandt (Jeannette) and Bracy Howard, Carl III (Batina), Daniel (Holly) Reinhardt and Lisa (Chris) Salinas, Michael Jr. (Terumi), Kenneth, Arminda and Joshua Reinhardt, 14 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Louise Sellers, Eva Howeth, and Betty Wilkenson, two brothers, Gilbert and Paul Reinhardt, extended family and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Della who died on May 25, 2008, parents, and brother LaVerne Reinhardt. He loved family and trucks. He worked hard all his life in the trucking business. He lived his life humbly and helped us to better our lives. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful compassionate service received from family, friends, church members, nurses and doctors. Pallbearers will be his sons, sons-in-law and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his daughters, daughters-in-law and granddaughters.
