It is with deep sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Carlos A. Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM.
Carlos A. Gallegos, age 67, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023. He was born October 26, 1956, to his parents, Fred F. Gallegos and Josephine A. Gallegos, in Albuquerque, NM. He married his childhood sweetheart, Dolores M. Romero, on February 03, 1979.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Josephine Gallegos; his father-in-law Jose Romero, his brother Jimmy Sanchez; his brother-in-law Lee Chavez; his nephews Jason Aragon; and Louie Padilla.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years; his son Carlos Gallegos; his daughter Sarah Gallegos; His goddaughters Kayla and Kerina Trujillo of Denver, CO; sister Lucille Garcia (Steve); sister Patsy Chavez; sisters-in-law Loretta Garcia (Steve); Gloria Medina (Louis); Yolanda Aragon; Joey Romero (Albenita); and Corina Chavez (Anthony); numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts; and many friends.
Carlos was a proud union member of Teamsters Local 492. He retired October 26, 2018 from YRC, after working 33 years and driving over 1 million miles accident free.
Carlos loved fishing, camping, and listening to music. He was also an Usher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Rosary- will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church; 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 (Due to construction the entrance to the church is on San Isidro)
Funeral Mass- will be held at 11:00 am, November 22, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church; 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 (Due to construction the entrance to the church is on San Isidro)
Burial- will be held at 12:30 pm, November 22, 2023, at Mount Calvary Cemetery;
1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
