Age 93, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. She was born February 24, 1924 to Antonio and Maria Luz De Herrera in Alamosa, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tony; sister, Jessie. She is survived by sisters: Armanda Terry (Hampton); Amalia Jones; Lena De Herrera; brothers, Edward and Arsenio; nephews: Mark and Michael Jones (Louisa); John Terry (Lisa); Peter Terry (Maritza); niece, Monica Lisa Jones (Ruben Navarrete); grandnephews: Jeremy and Joshua Jones; Gregory Terry; Andres Jones Navarrete; grandnieces: Jessica Jones; Eloise, Madeline and Charlotte Terry. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and the Legion of Mary. A Rosary will be recited Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10:30 am and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption, 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Thank you to family, and friends for their caring, love, prayers, and sacrifice; a special thank you to her dear friends Cathy C’de Baca and Robert Laguna. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be given to Our Lady of the Assumption Church School.
