Tucker, Carlton Blair
Age 34, died on Monday September 12, 2016 at the Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho New Mexico surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on December 17,1981 to Ernest B. L. Tucker and Sherrie L. Johnson Tucker. Carlton was a loving man, who had an extra special love for animals, specifically standard poodles. At the age of 13 he learned how to groom dogs and he became very good at it. He graduated from Rio Rancho High School with honors. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when he was 19 in Lima, Peru. After his mission he started and made a very successful career out grooming and handling show dogs. He even had the privilege to show his own black standard poodle, Starr, at the Westminster dog show in New York. This career gave him many opportunities to travel to many places including; India, France, Canada, and all over The United States of America. He had many talents including; playing the violin, acting, and he was very artistic. He was preceded in death by Hershel O. Johnson (grandfather), Flora Norton Johnson (grandmother) Basil S. Tucker (grandfather), Mildred I. Hollingsworth Tucker (grandmother) and Ronald K. Johnson (uncle). He is seceded by Ernest B. L. Tucker (father), Sherrie L. Johnson Tucker (mother), Amber L. Valliant (sister) and husband George, Melissa G. Tucker (sister), Shannon N. Hernandez (sister), and Tylor R. Tucker (brother); nieces and nephews include Ashley Wager and husband Ben Wager, Rachael Valliant, Aaron Valliant, Amanda Tucker, Matthew Hernandez, Joshua Hernandez and great niece Alenah Tucker. Memorial services will be held in his honor on Saturday September 17,2016 at 11 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 310 Loma Colorado Blvd. Rio Rancho New Mexico 87124.
We wish to express our appreciation for the amazing service provided by the hospital staff at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center to Carlton in his last hours of life. In lieu of flowers his family has asked for donations and has set up a fund to assist in his unexpected burial expenses.
