Carmen R. Baca

BACA- Carmen Baca age 77, a resident of Los Lunas for over 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Carmen was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, bingo, listening to music, visiting the casino and making blankets for her family. She enjoyed the company of her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Camilia Romero; four brothers, Miguelito Romero, Carlos Romero, Benny Romero and Oblester Romero; two sisters, Marcella Baca, Grace Baca. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Evaristo Baca, of Los Lunas, NM; seven children, Johanna Palma, Pat Baca, Virginia Arceo and husband, Ben, Susan Baca, Angela Baca all of Los Lunas, NM, Alex Baca and wife, Dorothy, Richard Baca and wife Anita Purcella of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren, Felicia Palma, Joshua Arceo, Eric Palma, Jeremy Baca, Jessica Palma, Adrianna Arceo, Evaristo Baca II, Victoria Baca, Michaela Baca; three great grandchildren, Carson Lane Jr., Hailey Lane, Sarah Barela; three brothers, Alfredo Romero of Santa Rosa, NM, Joe Romero of Phoenix, AZ, Margarito Romero of Amarillo, TX; one sister Maria Palma of Albuquerque, NM, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, 717 Stover Ave. SW with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Park with a reception to follow at Garcia Mortuary.
