SILVA-Carmen J. Silva, 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Carmen was born in Bayard, NM on August 5, 1931. Carmen enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her five children, Encarnacion, Agapito Jr., Benardo, Delilah, and Rachel; ten grandchildren, Tanya, Lina, Robert, Carny Jr., Ricky, Amanda, Josh, Terri, Fabian and Mariah; 14 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. Carmen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel of Angels of Garcia Mortuary Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Casket Beares are, Encarnacion Silva, Agapito Silva Jr., Benardo Silva, Joshua Silva, Ricky Silva, Robert Escudero; Honorary Bearers are, Manny Trujillo, Alex Garcia.
