Carol Strong

Carol Strong, known to her family and friends as “Tooter”, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2019. Carol was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She fought a valiant battle against rheumatoid arthritis for many years, yet always wore a smile and loved being with her family above all else. Her greatest pride and joy was in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives and accomplishments. Carol is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bill Strong, son Warren Strong and his wife Diane, daughter Jacque Reaves and her husband Calvin, and youngest son Brad Strong and his wife Lia. She also leaves behind nine loving grandchildren: Naomi McAllister and husband Jason, Shane Reaves and wife Lisa, Genny Torres and husband Ben, Amy Hamilton and husband Marco, Jacob Strong, Willow Strong, Antoinette (Toni) Strong, Charli Strong, and Nicole Torrez. Carol had eleven beautiful and talented great-grandchildren: Josiah Gonzales, Matteo Torres, Mesa Torres, Emma Hamilton, Kade Hamilton, Avery Hamilton, Sadie McAllister, Malorie McAllister, Paige Reaves, Sidnee Reaves and Kyler Reaves. She is also survived by her siblings, David Orum, Tim Orum and Pam Robnett. Bill and Carol enjoyed many activities together during their lives together. They loved boating, travelling in their RV, and visiting their many friends and family members along the way. We will all miss her very much and her memory will live on through her loved ones for a lifetime. Services for Carol will be held at a later date. Carol's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services, Socorro Chapel.
