Carolyn Ann "Nonny" Jaynes-Salter, born May 04, 1940. On October 02, 2015, the Lord called our Sunshine Nonny home. She is survived by daughters Diane Carol Argo, Cassie Dawn, son Billy Glen Whitaker and wife Deveron. Grandchildren Jaycee D. Contereras, Keith D. Whitaker, Shannon L Whitaker, Haley V. Gallegos, Jacob D. Contereras, Russell C. Whitaker. Great grand-daughter Cambria V. Contreras. Brother Bill Jaynes, wife Wanda; nieces and nephews, Jonna, Cole, Jesse, Dylan, Frankie, Jaxson, Rocky, Steven, Melton, Wesley, Chad, Christina, Jimmy, cousins The Gunn Family, and close friends Nancy, Mark, Erica, and Nikki, and many more family and friends. Carolyn was the eldest of seven brothers and sisters. Inspite of all her illnesses, including a 4 time battle with cancer, she never showed her pain, because she was "Wonder Woman." Carolyn enjoyed time with her family and loved to socialize with her neighbors, friends and people in general. She had a strong love for babies, and even helped raise a few. Animals were her passion, and she adopted everyone else's pets that she came in contact with. She had the best sense of humor and spirit, and had the biggest heart you will ever know. She was fun, loving, and made everyone laugh. Carolyn touched everyone who knew her, The Best Woman Ever. You are my Sunshine-We Love You. A Memorial will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm Daniels Family Funeral~ Carlisle Chapel. In lieu of flowers and food donations please make a donation in Carolyn's honor to your local animal shelter.
