Carrie Rebecca Montoya

MONTOYA - Carrie Rebecca Montoya, age 70, beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, was called to her heavenly home by the Lord, Friday, January 21, 2011. She was born in Irvin, KY and was a member of the Sandia Pueblo community for 35 years. Carrie was a pre-school teacher. She enjoyed reading, her pets, and spending time with her family. Carrie is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Malcolm Montoya; her wonderful children, Luke Montoya and wife Cheryl and Miranda Montoya; two precious granddaughters, Mary and Cora Montoya; her aunt Carolyn Bowles; cousins, Nancy Todd, Suzanne Von Brammer; and a host of friends. Carrie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary.
