June 8, 2015 Catherine Garcia, the most amazing wife, mother and friend made a conscious decision to move onto bigger and better things after beating cancer for eight long years. Catherine is survived by husband, Milton Garcia of 42 years; son, Matthew; daughter, Julie; daughter-in-law, Rachelle; granddaughter, Audrianna. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Catherine was always available to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, a sound word of advice, or a shoulder to cry on. Her family was always her pride and joy and this included her Godchildren, Eric Garcia, Keri Giron, Daniel Garcia, Andrew Lopez. All that knew her will miss her room-brightening smile, and contagious laugh that could make the most wary stranger feel welcome. While we will all miss all the wonderful things you brought to our lives we know that you will continue to watch over us and be with us until we meet again. We know you are in a better place and instead of saying goodbye we will say till we see you again and thank you for loving us so deeply and for having such a positive impact on the lives of so many people who knew you! Rosary to be recited on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 6:00 pm at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
