Age 58, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born in Carlsbad, NM on November 19, 1956, to David Carrasco and Ernestina (Mendez) Carrasco. She was as educator with the Las Cruces Public Schools and enjoyed running but most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Cathleen is survived by her daughter, Tiana M. (Eric) Carabajal of Carlsbad, NM, daughter, Sasha Rueda of Las Cruces, NM, son, Silvester C. Rueda, III of Carlsbad, NM, mother, Ernestina Carrasco of Rio Rancho, NM, grandchildren; Silvester D. Rueda IV, Gabriel Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Daniel Placencio and Angelina Placencio; siblings, Christina McKinnis and husband David and Joseph Carrasco and wife Peggy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on at Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Chapel. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park 4310 Sara Rd. SE.
