Cathy Garcia

GARCIA- Cathy Garcia, age 50, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and companion, passed away after a brief illness, Monday, July 27, 2009, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 25, 1958 and was a life long resident of Albuquerque. Cathy loved family gatherings, cooking, and her dogs. She will be remembered as a great mom, loving and caring aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo Martinez; and her husband, Lawrence Garcia. Cathy is survived by her loving son, Lawrence Garcia; her mother, Adernice Martinez of Alameda; her brothers and sisters, Manuel Martinez and wife Dolores, Frances Bazan, Reynaldo Lee Martinez and wife Frances, Rubel Martinez and wife Betty Jean of California and Angela Martinez. Also surviving is her long-time companion Florencio Jaramillo; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Cathy will be greatly missed by all.
