Cecil D. Carter

Carter, Cecil D. Cecil David Carter, �Dave� passed away from this life on Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born October 22, 1954 in Bastrop, LA to Cecil and Odessa Carter. He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Earl Carter. Dave is survived by his wife Christine Carter, sons Christopher James and Preston Michael Carter, and daughter Hollie Nichole Carter Doss and her husband Thomas Christopher Doss. He also leaves behind his mother Odessa Carter Dolan and stepfather Robert Dolan, along with his grandsons Kaleb Christian Carter and Jordan Blake Carter. He leaves behind his sister Debbie Carter Allen, her husband Barry Allen and three nephews Christopher, Jeremy and Daniel Allen along with their families. Dave was a great friend to many, many people in his adopted hometown of Rio Rancho, NM. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, laughter and his love of life. He leaves behind many friends who cared for him greatly and he will be terribly missed. A private family visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17 at the Daniels Family Funeral Home on Carlisle Blvd. in Albuquerque. They will also be handling the final arrangements. Rest in peace our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, we will miss you. We will all be together again one day.
