Tarango, Cecilia Maria
Age 80, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Santa Fe, NM. She was born in San Antonio, NM on June 5, 1935, to Salomon and Griselda Gonzales Padilla. Cecilia was a very special person. She was always will to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help. She was a very kind and caring and made friends easily. Cecilia worked at the Eagle Pitcher for 10 years and tried her hand at doing different jobs over the years. Cecilia enjoyed cooking and was devoted to her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Tarango; brothers, Juan Jose Padilla and Joe E. Padilla. Cecilia is survived by her loving daughter, Lupe Tarango-Turner and husband, Dean; sisters, Beatrice Gonzales and Elma Baca and husband, Ernest; brother, Felix Padilla and wife, Brenda; caregiver, Rafaelita Hernandez. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel , 309 Garfield St, Socorro.  Burial will take place immediately following the visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, 2:00 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 922 Ake Ave., Socorro. Pallbearers are Roger Cumpian, Jay Ladwig, Joe Hartfield, and Evelio Hernandez.
