Age 86, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in San Antonio, NM on October 27, 1930, to Eufracio and Acolonia Gonzalez Padilla. Cecilia attended school in San Antonio and Socorro. She lived in California for many years before returning to San Antonio in 1981. Cecilia loved to garden and loved to watching birds. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a great cook. She worked for Albertsons grocery stores for several years before retiring. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lucy Chavez, Stella Munoz and Joaquina Trujillo; and her husband Jay Woodward. Cecilia is survived by brothers, Edward (Gloria) Padilla Jr., Clarence Padilla, Tiburcio Padilla, Jose Padilla and Donald Padilla; her sisters, Dora Reyes, Anne Montoya and Rosina Armijo; step children, Sharon and Gary Woodward; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Mimi and Kelly.
