Beloved husband, father, grand father, and great-great grandfather passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Celedon was born on May 18, 1930 in Punta de Agua, to Fabian and Eufelia Griego. Celedon loved dancing, horses, baseball, music, wrestling, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He married his lifetime companion, Juanita of 64 years. Celedon is preceded in death by his father Fabian, mother Eufelia, 2 sisters, 7 brothers, and daughter Betty-Jean. He is survived by his wife Juanita, 4 daughters, 9 sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 10:00 am at The New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Blvd. The service will be officiated by Pastor Richard Mansfield. Please join the Griego family for a reception which will follow the service at New Beginnings Church. A private Cremation will take place.
