Celeste Marie Gorman

Celeste Marie Gorman passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was born on July 22, 1932 to Lucille DeJarnett and Carl Buchholz in St. Louis, MO. Celeste was the oldest of three children. She grew up in St. Louis and after high school, attended St. John's Mercy Hospital, School of Nursing, and received her RN. While working at St. John's, she met her future husband, William C. Gorman MD. They were married in Albuquerque, NM in 1954 and were married for 62 years until his death in 2016.

Celeste is survived by her children: Bill Jr. (JoAnne) Gorman of Phoenix, AZ, Mark (Wilma) Gorman of Middleburg, FL, Kathy (Russ) Falter of Albuquerque, NM, Liz (Steve) Tennyson of Tijeras, NM; grandchildren: Katie (John) Crist, Will (Becca) Gorman, Carl (Holli) Gorman, Kenny Gorman, Alex and Rusty Falter, Michael (Dani) Tennyson, Sara (Jack) Martinez, Ryan Tennyson; great grandchildren: Diesel, Jackson and Wren; her brother, John (Elaine) Buchholz of Southbridge, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Gorman and her sister Betty J. Lepping.
