Herrold, Charles Roscoe
Charles Roscoe Herrold was born November 7th, 1928 to Howard and Maggie Herrold in Maysville, OH and passed away January 9th, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM.
He was a very patient man who loved his family as well as his extended family. Charles was a World War 2 Air Force Veteran serving from 1946-1949 and received a WW2 Victory Medal.
Even though he encountered a lot of setbacks in life, Charles never let that determine who he was. He was a fighter, hard worker, and go getter that never gave up. His passion was his family, cooking, cowboy boots and horses. If you couldn’t find Charles, you can always guarantee that he would be out riding or tending to his horses. He would always say that when he dies, “I want to be buried with my boots on and with my horses.”
He was a father to 4 boys and later inherited a daughter; Jimmy, Robbie, Jason, Reno, and Antuanet. Charles married the love of his life, Clara, 19 years ago on August 15th, 2001, whom he loved with all his heart. Charles is survived by his wife, Clara. His sons, Jimmy, Reno, and daughter Antuanet as well as a daughter in law, Darla. His grandchildren included Jeremey, Shannon, Jasmine, Shane, Ross, and Andres. And his Great Grand Children, Gavin, Madeline, Zoe, Leah, Noah, Shane Jr., Koralee, Zarek along with many others. He will truly be missed and is celebrating in Heaven with 2 of his sons, Robbie, Jason, and a granddaughter, Melissa. For one last time, see you later Chuck.
