Charles C. Highbert

Charles C. Nighbert, 86, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at the home of Rob and Robin Duprey in Farmington, NM. He was a World War II veteran. Charles was born August 22, 1923 in Ramona, South Dakota. His family moved to Albuquerque in 1937, when he and his wife lived until moving to Farmington, NM. in 2006. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Maybelle; sister, Joy Grant; son, Randy Highbert; daughters, Pam Fuller, Debby Wellspand, and Robin Duprey. Also left to mourn his passing are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a special family friend, Brandi Fulkerson. He will be greatly missed everyone who knew and loved him. His family is planning a celebration of his life at the home of Rob and Robin Duprey, for sometime this summer.
