Charles Edward Jolly Jr.
Age 71, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 19, 1949, to Charles E. Jolly Sr. and Beatrice Streeter. Charles was later adopted by Geraldine Little. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He received his Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University, Phoenix, AZ, his Associates of Science in Electrical/Electronic Technology from Compton Community College, Compton, CA, and his Certification in Computer Technology from Control Data Institute, Los Angeles, CA.
Charles enjoyed golf, aviation (private pilot), tennis, movies, fishing, playing chess, board and card games, reading and research, piano, home improvement, dancing, teaching, counseling, gardening, napping and being a Grandpa.
He was an Honorary member of Antigua Cricket Club.
Charles was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA, First Institutional Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Phoenix, AZ and Sage Brush Church, Rio Rancho, NM. Charles worked at Jolly & Associates specializing in automation and controls engineering.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Geraldine Little; mother-in-law, Martha Gleason; wife, Katharine Cooper Jolly, father-in-law, Emanuel Cooper, Sr.; grandmother-in-law, Myrtle Holt; grandfather-in-law, Fred Douglas Holt; brothers-in-law, James Gleason and Keith Cooper.
Charles is survived by wife, Jenny Holt-Jolly of Rio Rancho, NM, daughters and sons-in-law, Katharine (Jolly) and Gibran Glanville of Kansas City, MO, Donna (Jolly) and Steven Evans
of Chicago, IL; daughters, Jernessa Holt of Rio Rancho, NM, Jermela Holt and Zachary Dana of Rio Rancho, NM; adopted son, Joseph Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Danté Holt-Trujillo, Dominic Trujillo, Myrlé Holt, Imke Glanville, Stevie Evans, Sydney Evans. He also had 2 dogs Jasmine and Rio.
