On Monday, March 8th, 2021, Charlotte Ingrid Morales, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 75.

Charlotte was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 24, 1945, and was raised in Houston, Texas.  She was the mother of 3 children whom she is survived by; Jacqueline Sandoval, David Vigil, and Lisa Herrera. Though Charlotte had many titles such as mother, wife, sister, etc, one of her favorites of all was being a grandmother. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren; Brittany Chavez (Precious), Lucio Sandoval (Sweet Pea),  David Vigil (Pumpkin), and Vanessa Gomez, and two great-grandchildren; Zachary Aaron Lucio Anaya (Cutie Pop) and Jordynn Anaya (Tulip). 

Charlotte’s proudest title was being a wife to her husband, Leonard Morales. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Leonard, who loved Charlotte with everything he had and would go to the ends of the Earth to take care of her. Charlotte and Leonard spent 43 years of their lives together.

Outside of loving her family, Charlotte had an array of interests. She loved Horror movies, White Diamonds perfume, Elvis, Banana Splits, and her jewelry. Charlotte was known for her witty personality and sense of humor; she could make anyone laugh.

Visitation will be extended to anyone who wishes to pay their respects to Charlotte and family. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am MT at Daniels Family Funeral Services on 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Following visitation, funeral services will be reserved for immediate family only, as Covid restrictions will only permit 10 people into the service. Grave side (burial) services will follow the funeral services and are open to anyone who would like to attend at Fairview Cemetery on 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106 and will take place at 12:15pm; masks and social distancing will be required.
