Charlotte R. Smith

On Sunday, May 12th, 2019, Charlotte Smith, loving mother, daughter, and sister passed away at the age of 66. Charlotte was born on January 7th, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Doug and Evelyn Pierce. Charlotte married her husband, Herb Smith Jr. in 1971, and in 1988 they had their only child, Loren Smith. Charlotte was a jack of all trades, having many different professions throughout her life. From respiratory therapist, to working at the local news channel KOB, sales, and most recent in health insurance, Charlotte was smart and adaptable. Charlotte loved music. Many of her young married years were spent going to see concerts, of now legends, with her husband. She even made it to Graceland to visit the home of one of her favorite musicians, Elvis. Charlotte loved to travel, traveling throughout the United States. Las Vegas, Nevada was one of her favorite places to go. Charlotte will be remembered most for her great sense of humor, kind nature, generosity, and perhaps most of all, for her laugh. Charlotte will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Charlotte is preceded in death by her father Doug, brother John, and husband Herb. She is survived by her mother Evelyn, brother Ron, and daughter Loren.
