Chester Holmes Brown

Chester “Chet” Holmes Brown, 38, passed peacefully from this world on Saturday, December 17th with his family and close friends at his side.
He is survived by his parents, Ron Brown and Susan Holmes; his son Daniel and Daniel’s mother Anna “Sam”; brother Caton and wife Stephanie and their children Owen and Elaina "Lainey"; aunt Annelle and uncle Gary along with many loving friends.
Born in Jemez Springs, NM, Chet was well known and loved among valley residents. After graduating from Jemez Valley High School in 1997, he quickly became a lead office system installer and then an electrician apprentice; eventually gaining a wide variety of trade skills. When engaged, he had a glowing personality that all walks of life could relate too. He was well known for his one liners, sparkling smile and long walks; he was an original. Chet's potential was high, graced with innate intelligence and personality; he could have walked many paths. Unfortunately, his life ended early, preventing him from reaching his true potential.
Chet was grateful for the support shown over the years. He is now comfortable, safe and at peace. Rest our loved son, brother, father and friend.
In keeping with the wishes of Chet there will be no funeral services; however there will be an informal celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Partnership for Drug-Free Kids http://www.drugfree.org
