Chester (Chet) Vaughn Kessler, 92, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. He was born December 22, 1918 in Tulsa, OK. He is a retired construction inspector for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Veterans Administration. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #68 and a charter member of Moose Lodge #1517. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mary. He is survived by his sons: Russ (wife Sharon) of Soldier, KS; Carl (wife Cheryl) of Albuquerque, NM; Paul (wife Betsy) of Ludlow, MA, and Ernie of Albuquerque, NM; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM.
