Chip Lusko

Pastor Chip Lusko went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 2. He was born in Michigan in 1951 & born again on Maui in 1977. Larissa, his loving wife of 20 years, was by his side to his final breath.

Chip’s savvy for broadcasting and heart for God’s kingdom intersected throughout the last five decades, taking him from Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles to the jungles of Uganda and nearly everywhere in between. He supported, owned, operated, and built radio stations that sent the words and worship of Jesus into airwaves and internet highways far and wide.

He was an instrumental part of the global reach of Calvary Church in Albuquerque but also indispensable to media ministries around the world. Untold millions have been impacted by his passion to send God’s word globally by any and all means.

He crisscrossed the globe, scuba diving, cycling, drinking coffee, and losing his AirPods.

Far more impressive to Chip than any resume accomplishment were his 5 children, Becca, Levi, Daniel, Jesse, Heidi, stepson Josh, and 20 grandchildren.

Chip is being honored at a celebration of life Monday, April 8th at 10am at Calvary Church that will be broadcast to the ends of the earth at CalvaryNM.church.
