Christine (Christy) Wersonick Baca

Christine was born November 27, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM to Evelyn Vigil Wersonick and Edward C. Wersonick. After a long illness, she died peacefully on January 22, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and her best friend, Sharon Lascano. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel and David Richard; her mother; her brothers, Steve, Mike and Gary Wersonick; and her beloved pet Chihuahuas, Jake and Reese. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Joseph Orlando Baca; brothers, David Thomas Wersonick and Brian Patrick Moody. Christine was a Certified Professional Locksmith and worked for over thirty years at Vigil’s Safe & Key, the family business. Christine had many artistic talents and created beautiful beaded jewelry and clothing as a hobby.

A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10 AM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery on April 12, 2021 at 2 PM.
