Christopher Anthony French

Christopher Anthony French was called home September 7, 2023. Christopher was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 15^th, 1966 to Byron French Sr. and Dolores Serda.  Christopher is a native to the area and graduated from Albuquerque high school.  Upon graduation, Christopher joined the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS John F. Kennedy in Norfolk, VA.  After serving in the Navy, Christopher continued serving his community by going into law enforcement.  He excelled in his career by committing 30 years as an officer and by serving various other fields such as, DEA Taskforce Group 3, GET (Gang Enforcement Team), and Rio Rancho SWAT.  Besides being a dedicated and loyal police officer, Christopher enjoyed bike racing and car racing.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.  Christopher was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle.  He is survived by his parents, Byron French Sr. and Dolores French; his son Elijah French; his brothers Byron French Jr. (Christina) and Phillip French; niece Rita De Herrera (Andre) and nephew Byron French III (Crystal).

Visitation will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services at 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124 from 5pm-7pm on Sunday September 17, 2023.  Memorial Services will be held at the Santa Ana Event Center Monday September 18, 2023 Starting at 11am. 

Pallbearers are Elijah French, Byron French III, Charles Tully, Jason Ahlin, Jim Laporte, and Charles Haycox.

Honorary Pallbearers are Byron French Jr., Adam French, Natalie French, Rick Salgado. Justin L. Garcia, and Bert Kirk.
