Christopher Pascual Jimenez

Christopher “Chris” Pascual Jimenez died peacefully on March 15th, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 51 years.

Chris is survived by his loving wife Jennifer Jimenez of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, by daughter Lila Jimenez of Corrales, NM, by son Joshua Jimenez of Rio Rancho, NM, by daughter Brianna Jimenez of Rio Rancho, NM, brothers Henry of California, Roger of Albuquerque, Sisters Joann of Kansas, Florence of Albuquerque, and numerous nieces and nephews around the country. Chris is preceded in death by his mother Elva (Clark) Jimenez, father Henry Jimenez and by brother James Jimenez. Chris was the baby brother that came late in life for his parents, and he was loved by his older siblings.

Chris was born in  Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Friday, February 5th, 1971 to mother Elva and father Henry Jimenez. He graduated from Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chris married Ms. Jennifer Grady on June 12, 1999, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, they were married for over 22 years and had three children.

Chris always worked in the construction field. He embraced what his older brother taught him. He took pride in everything he built. Chris was last employed by Bernalillo County for over 12 years. Where he Supervised a construction crew and was loved and respected by many.

Chris was a loving soul with a huge heart. He always lit up a room with his powerful voice and compassionate conversation. Chris was a huge music lover. Always willing to pick up his guitar and sing a song. Chris loved to dance, especially with his wife or daughters.  A true Cowboys fan that bled blue and silver, always standing by his team. Chris loved the outdoors, either by hunting, fishing, or camping. His real passion was cooking for family and friends. Chris loved doing Family Reunions and cooking for a couple of hundred people at a time. Always with a laugh and a smile.

A Visitation will be held from 5PM – 7PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124. A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverside Church of Christ, 3100 La Orilla Rd., Albuquerque, NM, 87120, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, beginning at 10AM. (Overalls or Cowboys Gear are encouraged) Lunch will served be after.
