Acosta-Gonzalez, Cipriano  
Age 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Chihuahua,  Mexico on September 26, 1947, to Ezequel and Josefa Gonzalez Acosta. Cipriano grew up in Parral where he was a city policeman for 20 years. He came to Socorro in 1983 and he worked for Viva Motors for over 20 years.  Cipriano was a devoted family man and strong in his faith. He enjoyed cooking and he liked to shoot. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Cipriano will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Josefina Portillo and Hortencia Burrola.  Cipriano is survived by his wife, Herlinda Acosta; children, Julio Acosta, Daniel  Acosta, Jose (Abigail) Acosta, and Denise Acosta; brothers, Ezequel Acosta, Jr., Matilde Acosta, Victor Acosta, Jesus Acosta, and Oscar Acosta; sisters, Alicia Garcia, Manuela Castro, Bertha Molina, Blanca Acosta, and Dora Greenwood; grandchildren, Jesus  Acosta, Laura Acosta, Lillian Acosta, Daniella Acosta, Juan Acosta, and Jose Acosta; great-grandchildren, Rick Contreras, Melanie Acosta, and Jazlyan Acosta. Visitation was held on  Monday, April 18, 2016, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. The Holy Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated  at 9:00 am.  Celebrant Father John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  following service.  Pallbearers will be Ezequel Acosta Jr., Matilde Acosta, Victor Acosta, Jesus Acosta, Julio Alvarado, Carlos Vargas.
