Clara May Johnson, 86, of Cuba, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born May 17, 1930 in Menco, OK to Thomas H. and Wanda M. Aker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Eugene Johnson; her parents; and four brothers: Frank, Tom, Lloyd, and Budd Aker. Clara May is survived by her three children, Kathy May Anderson, husband Harold of Jaroso, CO; Earl Johnson, wife Debbie of Raton, NM, and Timothy Johnson, wife Charla of Cuba, NM; her brother Ben Aker, wife Barbara of Springfield, MO; her sister Mary Wanda Taylor, husband Marshal of Noble, MO; seven grandchildren: Clara Marie Adams, husband Aaron, Layne Anderson, wife Jackie, Christy Jackson, husband Mike all of Jaroso, CO; EJ Johnson, wife Camille of Raton, NM; Corey Johnson, wife Ann of Broken Bow, NB; Lee Johnson, Jacob Johnson, wife Mariah all of Cuba, NM; seven great-grandchildren: Ethan and Caitlin Adams, Eugene, Cody, and Jessica Jackson, Hailey Jo and Morgan Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at The First Baptist Church of Cuba, with Graveside Services on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers: Layne Anderson, EJ Johnson, Corey Johnson, Lee Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Ethan Adams, Aaron Adams, and Mike Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers: Eugene Jackson and Cody Jackson.
