Clara Lopez

Clara Lopez, born July 5, 1940 in San Antonio, NM passed away on August 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lopez and her parents Marillita and Antonio Chavez. Remaining to cherish her memory is sister Lilly Lopez; her children Debbie Tausch and her husband Jake; Robert Lopez, Jr. and his wife Irma; Roxane Leger and her husband Ernie; Dion Lopez and his wife Kiki; grandchildren Tony Saba and his wife Amanda, Erin Skemp and her husband Jared, Jean Louise Leger, Jon-Claude Leger and Jacob Lopez; great-grandchildren Olivia and Elena Saba, Isabelle and Mason Skemp and many nieces, nephews and friends. Clara was an adored wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a generous, kind, gentle and protective mother whose life centered on her family. She was petite athletic woman who enjoyed playing volleyball and was a determined walker who always enjoyed being outdoors. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A reciting of the Rosary will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Shrine of St. Bernadette 1509 Indian School Rd. at 7:00 pm; Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at Shrine of St. Bernadette at 9:00 am; Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
