       Clara M. Lucero

September 1937- August 2020

Clara M. Lucero, Our beautiful Angel, surrounded by her family, spread her wings to reunite with her parents, her sister, her brother, and her Lord and Saviour on August 12, 2020. She was born on September 20, 1937 in Albuquerque, NM, to late Juanita and Cornelio Lucero. She was a mom and grandmother to everyone. She was so loving but she also had a feisty side. She always said "don't cry for me when I'm gone, if you want to see me, you can see me while I'm still here." She was loved by so many and she loved so many. She was always the life of the room. She didn't care who you were, she would befriend you in a heartbeat. She loved going to Bingo every chance she got. Every Saturday, when she was feeling good, she would love to get her radio, play 89.1 and listen to New Mexican music while she cooked in the kitchen dancing so beautifully, whether it was with or without her walker. She was so proud of being a Foster Grandparent at her local Elementary School. She was even recognized by the President of the United States! Clara is survived by her brothers Orlando Lucero, Alfonso Lucero and wife Rose Lucero, and Pete and wife Linda Lucero, Son William and wife Sandra Lucero, Daughter Debbie Lucero, Grandchildren Josh and wife Veronica Lucero, Devonna and Husband Zachary Barnard, Miguel and wife Angel Mancha, Denisha Lucero, Deion and wife Brooke Lucero, Tyra Crespin, Damian Lucero, and Desiree Lucero. Great-Grandchildren Zachariah Torrez, Jocelyn Baca, Alyssa V.Lucero, Xavier V.Lucero, Sophia Mancha, Isabella Mancha, Orlando Mancha, Angel in heaven Jalen Crespin, Taya Campbell, Jayceon Campell, and Marilyn Lucero. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy! She loved them very much!

  Grandma's Gone To Heaven

"One quiet day the angels came

And took grandma far away

But in the stillness of the night

I could almost hear her say

Dear Grandchild- I will miss you

You mean so much to me

But Jesus called me to his side

In Heaven I will be

A place of God's great beauty

No tears or earthly cares

 Only peace & joy forever

And love beyond compare

So remember all the good times

Don't think about the sad

 Treasure all the special moments

Through the years we've always had

And if you trust in Jesus

I can promise this & more

You will get a hug from grandma

Someday on Heaven's golden shore"
