Webber, Claudel Eugene Claudel Eugene (C.E.) Webber passed away on Mar.16, 2012. He was 82 years old and a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Claudel was born Nov.27, 1929 in Prairie du Chien, WI, to Claude Adrian and Thelma Reed Webber. He grew up in Milwaukee where he worked in a family owned restaurant/ lounge called the Ambrose along the Mississippi River. Patriotism and Duty compelled Claudel to join the Air Force in 1950 where he deployed to the Korean War with the 67th TRW. The Webber family moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1959, where he and his father ran a small machine shop on 2nd St. later he worked for GE in the Tool and Die shop until he retired in 1992. He is a member of IAM Lodge 794. Claudel was a talented artist, photographer, leather worker, beadwork, and fisherman as well as teaching leatherwork and ceramics at the YMCA Mid Town. Claudel was preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Adams, his brother Dwight, daughter Heather Benton and his parents. He is survived by his children, Russell Webber, Alice McCahan, Reed Webber, June Hatten, Virgil Adams, Anthony Adams, Rich Adams and Lance Vallo; and lots of grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at Fairview Memorial Park (700 Yale Blvd) service will be followed by a Celebration of Life at his Assisted Living home in the West Valley.
