Claudette Coriz Prescott beloved wife, daughter and sister passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2015. She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and later became a long-time resident of Denver, Colorado.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; stepson Skylar; mother, Vera Dewees (Jerry); brother, Patrick (Yolanda); sister, Melanie (Jose); nephews and nieces, Christopher, Angela, Matthew, Sofia and Jose Miguel; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Coriz.
Claudette graduated from West Mesa High School in 1981 and continued her studies at the University of New Mexico. She had a successful and rewarding career with leading national cosmetic companies for more than three decades. She had a strong passion for helping others feel good about themselves.
Spending time with family and friends was her favorite pastime. Claudette loved to tell stories and laugh, she had a great sense of humor. Her vast knowledge of pop culture gave her the edge at every trivia game she played. She had a big heart and loved deeply. Her smile always lit up the room and her laughter was infectious. She loved her dogs dearly as they brought her much joy. She will be missed by everyone she touched with her kindness and humor.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Daniel’s Funeral home at 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A reception to follow service.
