Clayton E. Erickson died peacefully on September 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He saw the passing of Lillian, his wife of 55 years, as well as his sister Arlene, and mother and father, Myrtle and Erick. He was overjoyed when his brother, Eugene, who died as a POW in the Korean War was returned with honors to the United States last year.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy of Madison, WI, and his son Bruce, of Colorado Springs and his niece, Debbie Wiesner, of Garnett, KS. After losing Lil ten years ago, his life was enriched by the love and care of Sandra and Orlando Duran, who expanded his family beyond what he believed was possible.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd NE.
