Scharle, Cletus Pierre
Age 65, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home in Socorro, NM with his family at his side. He was born in Hamtramck, MI on July 31, 1950, to Cletus H. Scharle and Ida (Mulewicz) Adams-Scharle.  Cletus grew up and went to school in Steubenville, OH and attended Ohio University.  He served in the US Air Force for 16 years and then joined the Army National Guard where he retired in 2010. Cletus moved to Socorro in 1989 and was stationed at White Sands Missile Range. He attended New Mexico Tech and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics in 1997. Cletus enjoyed target shooting and was President of the Socorro Gun Club for many years. He was a devoted family man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Cletus is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Grace Sweeney Scharle; daughters, Dorothy (David Grajeda) Scharle, Christine Scharle, Kiyoka Scharle, and Vanessa (Jared Griffith) Scharle; grandchildren, Donavan R. Gradeja, Dominic E. Grajeda, Jordan L. Scharle, Jorden W. Griffith, Jaxon W. Griffith, Devin P. Grajeda, Diego C. Grajeda, and Dabria I. Grajeda; great grandchildren, Damaris Grajeda and Daniel Grajeda. The family would like to give a special thanks to the people at Presbyterian Hospice and at Lovelace Hematology & Oncology for their care and compassion.  The Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am.
