Clifford C. Ballard, 87 of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Clifford Ballard was born and raised in Harrison Arkansas on May 25,1934 to Russell and Marcella Ballard. He served as Corporal in the United States Army, and later moved to New Mexico and worked in the mines where he met the love of his life, Adelene Gonzales where they were married on June 17, 1961, and just recently celebrated their 60th anniversary before his passing. Clifford C Ballard worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways for over 30 years, and was a Teamsters member local 492 and part of the International Teamsters of brotherhood.
Clifford C Ballard is proceeded in death by his daughter Dyana M. Ballard, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ballard, his sisters Marie Riley, and Joella Ballard, and his brothers, Gilford Ballard, and Hugh Ballard. He is survived by his wife, Adelene Ballard, sons, Clifford A. Ballard, and Christopher R. Ballard with wife Janelle Ballard, daughters Danette Cabber with husband Michael Cabber, Krystal Kehler with husband Gary Kehler, and Kerri Ballard. Clifford had Seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Ron Ballard with wife Eula Ballard, Roger Ballard, and sister Cheryl Ballard.
A rosary will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Parish, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 also at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, with Father Edward Domme as celebrant. Burial will follow at 12:30 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Jim Delgado, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Justin Cabber, Clayton Cabber, Phillip Gonzales, Paul Vallegos, Mathew Gonzales, and Jayson Kehler. We want to invite everyone to have a celebration of Clifford’s life after the services from 2-5 at Albuquerque Garden Center 10120 Lomas Blvd. NE, in Albuquerque.
