Clifton O. Loyd

LOYD_Clifton O. Loyd, 67, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Clifton was born February 23, 1942 the son of Odell and Meryl Lou Harris Loyd in Magdelena, New Mexico. He was a Construction Operating Engineer, owned and operated Loyd's Yard Service for 20 years, enjoyed designing and crafting jewelry. He will be remembered as a very hard working man who deeply cherished and loved his family. A very loving husband to his wife, Ida. A very selfless and caring man to all. Clifton is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ida Loyd of Rio Rancho; step-daughter, Jeannie McKee and husband Larry of Albuquerque; step-son Bill David Boyd of Rio Rancho, NM; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Clinton Loyd and wife Beth; sister, Sharon D'Arcy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
