Constance (Connie) Griffin
Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. Connie was loved by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. She is survived by her five sons; James, Steven, Jeffrey, Shawn and Gary; daughter, Evaleen; eleven grandchildren, Brooke, Michael, Julie, Patrick, Calisa, Brandon, Kristen, Justin, Jesse, Jacob, Cory; two great-grandchildren, Mathias and Aiden; two brothers, William and Walter Stella. Connie was preceded in death by her husband James, brothers; Robert, Frank, and Joseph; and her parents Albert and Marie Stella. Connie was born in Boston, MA. She relocated to Los Alamos, NM with her family. She spent most of her early married life making a home for her family while her husband pursued his career with Los Alamos National Labs. After retirement she moved to Florida before returning to New Mexico in 2000. In her later years, Connie enjoyed traveling, cooking, and playing penny slot machines "she always won". A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Following the service, please join the Griffin family for a celebration of her life at the home of James Griffin located at 1035 Cottonwood Dr. NW.
