Corrine V. Ortiz

ORTIZ- Corrine V. Ortiz passed away February 5, 2011 at her home in Rio Rancho, NM after a short illness. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Garcia and husband James, Dinah Ortiz and husband Phillip; brothers, Joe Velasquez and wife Carmen, Reggie Velasquez and wife Donnie, Ben Velasquez and wife Yolanda; sisters, Benita Tava, Diana Treat; grandchildren, Brandie Ferrari and husband Shane, Donald Ortiz and wife Julie; six great-grandchildren; aunt, Tia Gila Cebada; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Geronima and Enrique Velasquez; husband Don Ortiz. She was born on July 25, 1934 in Youngsville, New Mexico. She is the oldest of six siblings. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 10, 2011, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
