Cristin Renee Fuller
Gifted the Native American name, Wiyan Waste(Good Looking Woman), by her paternal great-grandmother at a ceremonial pow-wow, in Rosebud, SD.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Cristin Renee Fuller, beloved daughter, mother, sister, Gigi and friend, who left us far too soon on December 12 at the age of 48 years old.
Cristin was a dedicated and loving mother to three sons, the center of her world, and the greatest joys of her life. She also had the privilege of becoming Gigi to her newborn granddaughter, Ariya. Though their time together was brief, the bond they shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew them.
In her professional life, Cristin was a hardworking and dependable paralegal. Her colleagues admired her dedication, intelligence, and strong work ethic, as she consistently went above and beyond in her role. She was a quiet force, always reliable and always ready to lend a hand.
Outside of work, Cristin had a passion for learning. She embraced new ideas and always sought to grow, her curiosity and love for knowledge touching all those around her. She was also known for her radiant personality and love of sparkle, with a fondness for bling that matched her vibrant spirit. Her love for Christmas was well known—she eagerly waited for Halloween to pass before decking her home in festive lights and decorations, creating a holiday atmosphere filled with warmth and joy.
Family was everything to Cristin, and she treasured the time spent with loved ones above all. Her laughter, kindness, and ability to make others feel special will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Cristin was a radiant soul who's grace, kindness, and unwavering forgiveness touched all who knew her.
Cristin is survived by her parents Deborah and Frank Cortese, 3 sons David(Taylor) granddaughter Ariya, Ethan(Emily) Fuller and Eli Fuller, her siblings Hollis White, Nick Cortese Noel (Evan) Casso, Kateri White, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles White, who welcomed her with open arms.
May her memory shine brightly, forever sparkling in the hearts of those who loved her.
